A Fun Pool Party – Party Savers

A Fun Pool Party

A Fun Pool Party

Hosting a pool side party during the hot, clammy summer months is the best way to make friends. One good thing is that you can involve and invite guests from all age groups. Choose a specific theme if you like or keep it casual! Arrange for an elaborate buffet or throw in a few readymade snacks. People will love you for just letting them use your pool during the uncomfortable summer months.

Themes and food

Pool themes for kids could be sweet splash, nautical, pink flamingo, pirate themed party and adults can join in the fun. You could organize a dive-in pool party and call it a movie night where a movie will be screened with a projector on the side of your home or a light colored solid screen. Just throw in a few inflatable deck chairs and lounge chairs. Arrange for a few flip flops and allow swim wear. Have barbeque, guacamole chips, burgers, taco, salsa, rice, salads, tortillas, sour cream, cheery pie, strawberry cupcakes or anything that you like or you think your guests would enjoy.

Spread more happiness by keeping a dessert counter where you could offer ice-cream sandwiches, popsicles, candy bars and different flavors of ice-creams.

Décor

Are you planning on a Hawaiian Luau? You can do the décor yourself. It is easy to set up and also pocket friendly. Just ring up the right guys and get the right supplies. Decorate with bamboo accents, tropical colours, floral decors, tiki torches and welcome with cool drinks and leis.

Start inviting people early. Make a guest list on a spreadsheet and request R.S.V.P. Choose a good time of the year when people are in a party mood. Have a separate party for kids or if you have space, create a separate kids zone and decorate the area with themes and items that they like. If you are new to the town and want to get acquainted, a pool party may be your best bet to break the ice with your neighbors.
